"America's Oldest LGBTQ Community Arts Organization" by its own count, incorporated in 1948 and still running the grove's stage. cabaret nights, the grove & pines film festival, latinX weekend, drag bingo, yoga and al-anon in the same room. listed on the national register in 2013, which the arts project calls one of three places designated for their seminal importance in LGBTQ history, alongside the stonewall inn.
