virginia's oldest free clinic runs trans health as a named service line: hormone treatment and monitoring, chest health, surgery support letters, voice therapy, and the richmond TLC name and gender marker change clinic. also ryan white services and HIV and STI testing. it started as the fan free clinic in 1970 and formed the richmond AIDS information network in 1983.
