the successor to the gay alliance of the genesee valley, which began with about a hundred people in a room at the university of rochester on october 3, 1970. home of the lilac library, "the largest LGBTQIA+ library of its kind in New York State" by their own count, plus a community clothing closet stocked with gender-affirming pieces. the empty closet, the paper this lineage published until 2020, started printing again in june 2026.
